6.8% ABV • 65 IBU • Old Nation Brewing Co.

The First release in our “New Orthodox” IPA series, M-43 is designed to accentuate the deep and complex character from the combination of Calypso, Amarillo, Citra, and Simcoe hops. Citrus and Tropical notes of Pineapple, Mango and Grapefruit come through in the huge, yet surprisingly delicate aroma. The flavor backs these aromas with a soft, pillowy mouthfeel. Hop bitterness is not particularly intense, which leads to a very drinkable, juicy IPA even non-IPA fans love. The Haze is not from yeast, but rather from an interplay of lipids from the malted oat and oils and acids which naturally occur in the hand selected Dry hops. This beer is a perfect interplay between top grade malt and hops, MI water and brewing technique which cannot be faked.

36. Stone Grapefruit Slam IPA IPA - Imperial / Double
8% ABV • N/A IBU • Stone Brewing

We’ve made a hell of a lot of beers since 1996. Probably thousands at this point. Some stick around for decades, some for a few years and some are brief visits, gracing us with their hoppy presence for a short time before becoming fond memories. Occasionally stars, planets and brewing schedules align and we bring back one of these ephemeral creations. In fall of 2014 we created a draft-only version of this delicious double India pale ale. Its bitter, zesty grapefruit peel infusion created a bright accent to flavors of pine resin and fresh citrus well in advance of the explosion of fruited beers we’re all reveling in at the moment. We never stopped thinking about it, so a long five years later, we’re bringing back Stone Grapefruit Slam IPA for round two. It’s a link to the past planted delightfully in the present.

41. Hopster Hefeweizen
5.95% ABV • N/A IBU • New Glarus Brewing Company

This is Dan's bold creation. You hold the international marriage of a sophisticated Bavarian Hefeweiss and an assertive American Pale Ale. Amarillo dry hopping drives Wisconsin Red Wheat. Traditional open top fermentation cultivates our proprietary Bavarian Weiss yeast in our own Wheat Beer Cellars. Absolutely 100% natural bottle conditioned. This is a living beer. Expect to pour a thick creamy head into your glass. Savor the fierce onslaught of clove, cinnamon, and citrus nose. Our very popular Imperial Weizen ratchets down for the session. Drink to adventure and friends in Wisconsin. We are the state of beer.

This brew delivers the extraordinary flavor combination of cherries and high-quality bourbon with the alcohol content of beer. Cherry and bourbon seem to be made for each other when you merge this brew into one beer mug. If this is not enough for you, we added a touch of vanilla, to enrich the flavor even more.

52. 300 IPA - American
7% ABV • 74 IBU • Fulton Beer

Originally brewed as a one-off in celebration of the 300th batch at our original Minneapolis brewery, 300 was so well received we had to bring it back every year. It's an IPA built on a base of Weyermann Pilsner malt and heavily hopped from start to finish with Mosaic, one of our favorite -- and unfortunately nearly impossible to find -- hop varieties. At 74 IBU and just under 7% ABV, 300 is pure hop candy and brewed in only a small quantity each year, so get it while you can.

Crafted as a flavorful session beer, Bell's Octoberfest Beer is perfect for a week-long wedding celebration in Germany or the start of the Michigan autumn. As with Bell's Lager Beer, Octoberfest spends a full six weeks maturing in the fermentation vessels. 5.3% ABV • 16 IBU • Boston Beer Company

In 1810, the Oktoberfest tradition was born when Munich celebrated the Crown Prince’s wedding with a special beer and 16 day party. Our version of this classic style blends rich malts for a hearty, smooth flavor with notes of caramel creating a brew that’s perfect for the season, or whatever you’re celebrating.

4.2% ABV • N/A IBU • Funkwerks

This delicious creation was truly a product of creativity, ingenuity, and luck. In the summer of 2013 we took a test batch of our sessionable sour summer ale, Provincial, that didn’t quite hit gravity and decided to have some fun with it by adding a heavy dose of raspberries. The end result was so delicious, we ended up brewing it year-round. This delightfully tart fruit beer is refreshing, with a citrusy berry aroma which transitions to a subtly sweet and tart finish. Notes of lemon zest and tart raspberries. Pairs well with day drinking.

46. Backyard Crusher Lager - American
5.6% ABV • 21 IBU • Royal Docks Brewing Company

At Royal Docks, we simply adore intellectually challenging brews that beckon one to explore their depths and parse each nuanced sip, but this ain't one of those beers. See, there's thinkin' beer and there's drinkin' beer - and Backyard Crusher is a drinkin' beer. Sure, we could tell you all about the Egyptian black lime, Mediterranean sea-salt and Citra hops that make this tangy golden quencher so easy on the tongue, but that would defeat the purpose.

31. Lovibond Stout - White
8.7% ABV • 44 IBU • Royal Docks Brewing Company

Our white stout is a golden pale, full bodied and strong. We’ve added back the chocolate love, roastiness and vanilla notes with healthy doses of the real McCoy; Ghanaian cocoa nibs, Chanchamayo coffee and Madagascar vanilla beans . At a strength of 8.7% this is a true stout in the historical sense of the word unlike many modern stouts of any colour. Named for the schooner Lady Lovibond, a ghost ship that appears cast in an eerie white glow to lure rescuers to their own demise in the North Sea, our white stout is likewise not what she appears. With the coffee roastiness, chocolaty maltiness and vanilla sweetness expected of its darker kin, Lovibond eschews typical ingredients and relies instead on real coffee, cocoa and vanilla beans for ballast.
