Bell’s Brewery presents Dark Night, Darker Beers
Dec 21 @ 5 pm

Bell’s Brewery presents a Winter Solstice celebration like no other... Join us for a Dark Night with Darker Beers! Friday, December 21 is Winter Solstice, the shortest and darkest day of the year. When the sun sets at 5:22pm, we will embrace the darkness with a special tapping of four extra dark, delicious stouts by Bell’s Brewery. We will have some brewery swag to giveaway, a great raffle prize, and live music by Rick Bruckner beginning at 7pm. About the Beers: Bell’s Cherry Stout (7% ABV) has been brewed every year since 1988, celebrating it’s 30th anniversary this year (as is the brewery itself.) “Tinted ruby-black, Cherry Stout gains its signature tartness from 100% Montmorency cherries grown in Michigan... ...[which] serves as a counterpoint to the warm, dark chocolate notes from the malt bill. Lightly hopped for balance” “Named for its velvety smooth, creamy texture, [Bell’s Special Double Cream Stout] (6.1% ABV) is brewed with 10 different specialty roasted malts chosen that impart notes of rich mocha and espresso. Dark and sweet tones intermingle with a soft, roasty finish.” Bell’s Bear Hug (9.5% ABV) was “brewed with a careful selection of caramel and roasted malts, the end result is a moderate, smooth roasted maltiness that is warming and gentle, but still firm. Bear Hug showcases hop aromas in an Imperial Stout without being overly bitter.” “One of the earliest examples of Russian Imperial Stouts in the US, [Bell’s] Expedition Stout (10.5% ABV) offers immensely complex flavors crafted specifically with aging in mind. A huge malt body is matched with a heady blend of chocolate, dark fruit and other aromas.”

Andy Timko plays the Whistle & Keg
Dec 22 @ 8 pm

Andy Timko is a Nashville-based country singer/songwriter who has quickly been gaining momentum in country music markets accross the country. Andy's journey in music is not a typical one. The 29-year old former college basketball player was never supposed to begin writing and performing country music-it just sort of happened that way. Andy grew up in Youngstown, Ohio and did not sing a note until he was 23 years old- but once he did, he hit the ground running--headlining numerous shows and events across the region, as well as opening for various national acts such as A Thousand Horses, Sundy Best, Dustin Lynch, Chris Higbee, Outshyne, and Zach Paxson. Andy’s songwriting and one of a kind voice has caught the attention of listeners around the country—ultimately leading him to move to Nashville, Tennessee to continue to pursue his dream of sharing his music at the highest levels. Influenced by prolific modern-era country singer/songwriters such as Eric Church, Will Hoge, Lee Brice and Brantley Gilbert—Andy has developed a style all his own. Believing in earning fans the old-fashioned way, Andy maintains a grueling touring and performance schedule with over 150 performances per year. Andy’s pours his heart and soul into every performance- providing audiences with an authentic and unique live experience at every show.
