22. Brute Force Double IPA IPA - Imperial / Double

8.7% ABV • 90 IBU • Masthead Brewing Company

37. 300 IPA - American

7% ABV • 74 IBU • Fulton Beer

Originally brewed as a one-off in celebration of the 300th batch at our original Minneapolis brewery, 300 was so well received we had to bring it back every year. It's an IPA built on a base of Weyermann Pilsner malt and heavily hopped from start to finish with Mosaic, one of our favorite -- and unfortunately nearly impossible to find -- hop varieties. At 74 IBU and just under 7% ABV, 300 is pure hop candy and brewed in only a small quantity each year, so get it while you can.

Brut IPA with Oranges Mimosas, the great equalizer. It doesn't matter who you are, chances are you love mimosas and if you're drinking them you're going to end up way more day drunk than you expected. We love them so much, we decide to make that delicious bubbly concoction into a beer. We took a brut IPA, super dry, with mild bitterness and danky herbal hoppiness, and added in a bunch of oranges to give it a nice tropical sweetness. This lil lady is balanced, juicy, and hoppy. Clocking in at a deceptive 8% ABV it also that that mimosa ass kicking potential that everyone wants for brunch.

14. Stone Grapefruit Slam IPA IPA - Imperial / Double

8% ABV • N/A IBU • Stone Brewing

We’ve made a hell of a lot of beers since 1996. Probably thousands at this point. Some stick around for decades, some for a few years and some are brief visits, gracing us with their hoppy presence for a short time before becoming fond memories. Occasionally stars, planets and brewing schedules align and we bring back one of these ephemeral creations. In fall of 2014 we created a draft-only version of this delicious double India pale ale. Its bitter, zesty grapefruit peel infusion created a bright accent to flavors of pine resin and fresh citrus well in advance of the explosion of fruited beers we’re all reveling in at the moment. We never stopped thinking about it, so a long five years later, we’re bringing back Stone Grapefruit Slam IPA for round two. It’s a link to the past planted delightfully in the present.
