35.  Specter IPA - New England
7.1% ABV • 35 IBU • Fulton Beer

Specter, our NE Style IPA has a number of very distinct traits that separate it from the rest of our IPAs. It’s smooth, creamy mouthfeel and it's hazy appearance are by-products of a number of ingredients and process. We used nearly 20% oats in the mash, a chloride-heavy water chemistry, and low flocculating yeast. We aggressively hopped Specter with late boil and whirlpool additions, leaving it with little perceived lingering bitterness, but rather a tropical and juicy finish. If that wasn't enough, we dry-hopped this beer twice with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Nelson Sauvin to add aromas of citrus and stone fruits.

We’ve added a combination of Denali, Centennial, Cascade, and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus. Now… for the name. Why “Last Chance?” The name “Last Chance” is a nod to something held very close to the hearts of many of the employees at Weyerbacher Brewing Company: Animal Rescue. Weyerbacher donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every drop of Last Chance IPA to small, regional animal rescue operations. These shelters offer dogs, cats and other pets their last chance to find a new home. AS OF MAY 2015, WE HAVE RAISED OVER $81,000.00 FOR NO KILL ANIMAL SHELTERS! Have a glass, make a difference! Cheers!

19.  Ayinger Celebrator Bock - Doppelbock
6.7% ABV • 24 IBU • Ayinger Privatbrauerei

A beer that has a dominant malty taste. This beer’s origins in a monk’s recipe are reflected in its heartiness. The Pope of Beers, Conrad Seidl, describes it as: “Almost black with a very slight red tone, a sensational, festive foam and truly extraordinary fragrance that at first summons up visions of greaves lard. The first taste is of mild fullness with an accompanying coffee tone, which becomes more dominant with the aftertaste. There is very little of the sweetness that is frequently to be tasted with doppelbock beer.” The Ayinger Celebrator has been ranked among the best beers of the world by the Chicago Testing Institute several times and has won numerous medals.

A traditional Irish-style red ale with a characteristic orange-red hue. Not light but not too heavy, this beer still packs a punch of flavor and aroma. Your palate will be hit with toasty red malt sweetness and dry toasted oat graininess. The hops take a slight backseat but this beer is one satisfying brew which is good in any situation.
